Southern NSW Partners in Recovery

Partners in Recovery (PIR) provides support to individuals experiencing enduring mental illness, facilitating access to services and supports that can assist people in their recovery.

Due to changes in Australian government policy - from July 1 2016 PIR has a limit on the number of people that we can support

How it works

SNSW PIR offers people accessing their services the option to get support from a Peer Worker. Peer Workers are professionals who have a lived experience of mental illness and work from a place of mutual understanding. They are not clinicians, but have expertise from their own personal experience and are able to offer insight into the recovery journey.

Grand Pacific Health is the lead agency for the delivery of PIR in Southern NSW. The program is provided by a number of organisations in regional areas across Southern NSW. This means that the Support Facilitator that works with you will be based in one of the following organisations.
