Medicare Mental Health Centres

Who is the service for?

Medicare Mental Health Centres provide a welcoming entry point for adults (and their support people) experiencing distress, crisis, or mental health challenges to access a range of support services.

What services are offered?

Everyone who enters Medicare Mental Health Centres will receive a Wellbeing Planning Session. In this appointment, we aim to understand what is going on for you and your individual support needs. Together, we will develop your Wellbeing Plan that will match you with the right support.

This could be a referral to a Medicare Mental Health Centre (including psychological intervention, peer support, drug and alcohol counselling, family and relationship support, and psychosocial groups).  If there is an external service that will better meet your needs, we will link you with them.
