Access Support Program

Are you waiting to be connected to your one-on-one worker in our GPH mental health program?

We can offer you some ideas to keep you well.

GPH Access Support Group Program

Join our Access Support Groups each week. These are run by peer or generalist mental health staff in areas across the region that have delays in connecting you to your one-on-one worker. Come along and meet others and learn strategies to support your wellbeing.

Download the Beyond Now App

The app was written by Beyond Blue. It is often used for those with suicidal thoughts as their safety plan but can be used by us all. It has six simple steps:

  1. My warning signs
  2. Make my space safe
  3. My reasons to live
  4. Things I can do by myself
  5. People and places I can connect with
  6. People I can talk or yarn to.

In addition to writing down your resources, it allows you to upload photos of the people or places in your life that keep you strong.

Do you have a smart phone? Download the app via

Download the app from the App Store   Get the app on Google Play

Beyond Now is designed to be used as part of your overall mental wellbeing and safety strategy. It is not intended to be your only form of support. Ideally, you should work with a health professional or support person to create your plan at a time when you’re feeling calm and relaxed.

Keep in touch with your doctor

General practitioners (GPs) help take care of your mental health no matter how old you are. They are in a good position to give you advice on how to keep track of and look after your mental health.

Keep in touch with us

Please contact us if your circumstances change or if need any assistance. If you have lost the phone number for the specific program you call 1800 228 987 and ask our staff for their number, or alternatively the program’s webpage on this site will give you their contact details.

Sometimes our staff may ask you to complete a brief mental health survey to check how you’ve been feeling over the past 4 weeks.
