We welcome people from the Wagga Wagga and Young communities and surrounding areas with an opportunity to provide insight to shape our new Wagga Wagga Head to Health and Young Head to Health services.
Grand Pacific Health, Directions Health, Riverina Medical and Dental Aboriginal Corporation and Mission Australia are partnering together to deliver the Wagga Wagga Head to Health and Young Head to Health services from April 2024.
Head to Health centres provide a welcoming entry point for adults (and their support people) experiencing distress, crisis, or mental health challenges to access a range of support services.
We are seeking input from people who have experienced periods of distress, crisis, or adversity (and those who support them), on the new Head to Health services in Wagga Wagga and Young.
To do this we are holding an informal lunch on the 28 March 2024 at Mercure Wagga Wagga.
We will talk to you about the new Head to Health services and provide opportunity for you to share your thoughts to help shape these centres.
We have also invited other lived experience members and local community services staff from the Murrumbidgee Alliance.
