Sunara Hanzlik

I am a Social Worker accredited in Mental Health with the Australian Association of Social Workers. With 7 years of experience working in the mental health field, I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Schema Therapy.

I focus on creating a calm, safe, nurturing space where you can work through difficult emotions and problems such as grief, shame, low self-esteem, anxiety, interpersonal issues, depression and demotivation. Together, we can navigate the complexities of mental ill-health, finding a path to growth, healing, and empowerment.

Focus Areas:

  • Mood disorders such as depression and Bipolar Affective Disorder
  • anxiety disorders
  • schizophrenia and other psychotic spectrum disorders
  • Borderline Personality Disorder
  • interpersonal issues
  • impacts of trauma and attachment disruption
  • suicidal ideation and self-harm
