Grand Pacific Health hubs are marking ‘World Mental Health Day’ by participating in local events - including the HASI Ulladulla team (Housing Accommodation Support Initiative), who are running activities in Ulladulla Plaza on October 10.

HASI Support Worker Adam Hogan says the team will set up community stalls and run free activities from 10am-2pm:

“We will have games, prizes, giveaways and information on local services to raise awareness about mental health.”

“We encourage people to come down and join us and help break down stigma in the community about mental health issues,” added Adam.

World Mental Health Day is recognised on 10 October each year and is a day for global mental health education, awareness and advocacy.

The 2019 campaign theme in NSW is again ‘Share the Journey,’ which is all about looking at ways we can connect with others, both for our own health and wellbeing, as well as theirs.

Grand Pacific Health is a leading health service provider with a strong focus on mental health - offering several clinical and non-clinical services.
