Grand Pacific Health’s Housing and Accommodation Support Initiative program (HASI), is marking World Mental Health Day this Saturday October 10 with a free workshop.

HASI is a recovery-oriented mental health care service with offices in Nowra and Ulladulla.

HASI, in partnership with Lifeline South Coast, are offering a free meditation workshop with 3 different sessions available to register for before this Saturday when they take place at the Ulladulla Civic Centre.

HASI Program Leader Emilie Martin says the workshop is for anyone seeking greater peace of mind:

“The Meditation Facilitator will teach participants how to relax their bodies, calm racing thoughts and settle emotions.”

“It’s been an extremely difficult year for many people so we are hoping that by providing some extra tools to cope, we can help people find strength within when things are tough on the outside.”

“Meditation is a strategy many experts use to find balance, so if people are interested in finding out more about this technique, we encourage them to join us,” added Emilie.
