headspace day goulburn

In celebration of headspace’s annual “headspace Day”, community services joined headspace in creating a memorable day for Goulburn locals.

The annual event is held in support of the mental health and wellbeing of all young Australians, and took place on Wednesday 9 October during National Mental Health Week. This year’s event featured 'headspace toolkits, providing practical tips on how to achieve a healthy headspace. The toolkits are designed around 7 healthy practices, including: getting in to life, learning skills for tough times, creating connections, eating well, staying active, getting enough sleep, and cutting back on alcohol and other drugs, which influenced the theme of the day.

Locals engaged in the seven themes in Goulburn’s vibrant Belmore Park, exploring the various stationed activities which included hula hooping, art, novelty games, meditation, mocktails and an abundance of giveaways. The event had an exciting buzz which was accompanied by the laughter of locals, the well-loved aroma of Mission Australia’s sausage sizzle, and the musicality of the local Conservatorium.
