Grand Pacific Health are closely monitoring developments with COVID-19 and are executing a staged response.

To reduce risk and ensure safety of the community, stage 1 has involved our hubs encouraging people who are experiencing respiratory symptoms including, runny nose, sore throat, cough, or fever to get in touch by phone rather than attending the hub in person.

Some programs, that involve face to face group sessions with vulnerable persons, have been postponed and we are informing each individual participant of those changes.

Thorough environmental cleaning is also taking place at each hub.

Supporting people in challenging times is crucial and we are dedicated to ensuring that those who need it can access help. The efforts to date have focused on balancing our obligation to our communities as health professionals, with the obligation to do this in a safe manner for consumers and our staff by following and implementing relevant health authorities’ advice.

We anticipate however that, very soon, our service capacity at the ‘usual’ place of service will be compromised as larger numbers of consumers and staff will for various reasons, be unable to attend our hubs.

We therefore have now launched Stage 2 of our response, which moves to facilitate virtual service delivery. This will include tele and video health solutions into consumer’s homes where appropriate.

We are committed to serve our communities in these difficult times.

GPH’s hubs include:
