Support is tailored to the person’s individual needs and goals, helping them build independence, manage everyday activities and participate more fully in their community. A diagnosed mental health condition is generally required. However, a formal diagnosis is not required for those that are Aboriginal, refugees or asylum seekers, or aged 16 – 24, provided a mental health professional has identified a need for additional social and emotional wellbeing support.
