What is Healthy Ageing & Early Intervention?
At Grand Pacific Health, we recognise the importance of staying in your home as you age. The Healthy Ageing & Early Intervention service is designed to help First Nations people aged over 50 live safely and independently in their own homes by making small lifestyle and environmental changes. The program offers personalised workshops and services that address specific health and wellbeing needs, focusing on prevention and early intervention to promote long-term wellbeing and independence.


Who is Healthy Ageing & Early Intervention for?
This service is available for:

  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged over 50
  • Carers and partners are welcome to join
  • Individuals willing to participate in a series of health and wellbeing workshops

How does Healthy Ageing & Early Intervention work?
The program provides workshops and services tailored to meet the specific health and wellbeing needs of the First Nations community. These workshops cover a wide range of topics, all aimed at promoting health, safety, and independence. Each workshop lasts about 2 hours and is free of charge, with refreshments provided.
