I liked the fact that when I approached GPH they were very helpful and friendly. If anyone is thinking about getting help, I would say don’t hesitate.
My GP suggested the ITC program, and the program may help pay for some diagnostics that I couldn’t afford, so I agreed to him making the referral. I was having trouble with my eyes due to my blood sugar and my age, and my GP suggested that I see my specialist. I had other health issues, such as diabetes, obesity, MH issues and bad depression.
GPH has made life considerably easier and better. GPH has taken a lot of stress away and helped with the medical bills. I had significant blockages in my heart, and without the help of GPH covering the diagnostics. My Cardiologist said I could have had a heart attack and so I am very thankful.
My life now is considerably better, I have much less stress in my life, I can only imagine what it would be like if GPH was not involved. I had a lot of significant health problems, and then GPH helped me make my life a lot better, significantly better. My unmanaged health issues and stress were killing me, and if I didn’t lower my stress, I would have a heart attack. I have learnt not to stress about the little things.

If anyone is thinking about getting help, I would say don’t hesitate. Go and find out and call GPH for help. The reception I got was amazing, if you’re worried or stressed out GPH is there to help. The frontline staff were perfect and so helpful, and Simon was great. It shows now, that GPH’s service delivery is excellent.

Michael talked about being in a much better headspace, he is feeling well physically and emotionally and is elated that the support from GPH to pay for the diagnostic testing has detected a serious health concern that is now being treated. He said,” If I didn’t have the test the specialist said I would have had a heart attack and died, I really appreciated the support from GPH”.
