You have a say over who can see your record, speak to your GP if you would like to change access. All staff use best practice software this means if you see a different doctor at GPHC @ UOW they can access your record.
SECURITY AND PERSONAL HEALTH INFORMATION
Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of the GPHC @ UOW to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised staff. The Practice adheres to the National Privacy Principles.
CONSULTATION FEES
Grand Pacific Health Centre @ UOW is a mixed billing practice.
All students at the University, patients who are under 16 years of age or identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and hold a current Medicare card will be bulk billed. We also accept overseas student health cover (OSHC) for any student at the university of Wollongong.
All other appointments will incur a fee, with payment made on the day.

Due to the nature of the GPH Centre @ UOW, we are unable to offer home visits to our patients. We apologise for any inconvenience.
We are an appointment-based practice and do not accept walk in patients. We do offer a cancellation list in the event anything becomes available on the day. If you wish to be put on the cancellation list, please call reception, and advise the reason for the appointment as these spots can be triaged.
Standard appointment times vary depending on the doctor. If you need a longer appointment time, please ensure you book a longer consultation or contact reception.
Each appointment is for one person only. If you have other family members who require medical attention, please make a separate appointment for them.
If you need to cancel your appointment, please advise reception staff with at least 2 hours notice.
If less than 2 hours notice is given or you miss your appointment, fees will occur.
