Headspace Wollongong Gets a Mention in NSW Parliament

We were delighted to host The Hon. BRONNIE TAYLOR (Minister for Mental Health, Regional Youth and Women) at Headspace Wollongong in a recent visit.

The Hon. Ms Taylor offered details about her visit in NSW Parliament last week when asked a question about Youth Mental Health.

Our Service Manager Lynn Langhorn was given a shout out for the important work the team is doing to assist local young people.

The Hon. Ms Taylor also took the opportunity to commend the young people who access the service:

"I say to all the wonderful young people using headspace services: I know it is not easy, but I commend you on taking that step to access services. I commend you for having the courage to put your hand up to seek the help you need. I encourage you all—and I am sure I speak on behalf of all membersto keep working together with the professionals towards your recovery. The hard work is worth ityou are worth it!"
