Grand Pacific Health has been awarded the winner of the Voice Project’s ‘Best Workplace’ Award for 2021.

This prestigious award recognises best workplaces who have excellent management practices and a highly engaged workforce.

According to the ‘Voice Project,’ who conduct GPH’s annual internal survey, employees reported exceptional levels of engagement and satisfaction. Specifically, GPH is said to have exceeded the criteria of 80% or above staff satisfaction, with GPH reaching 80.7%. (Only a small number of clients reportedly meet these criteria.)

Grand Pacific Health has therefore been identified as an exceptional place to work.

GPH CEO Ron de Jongh says he is thrilled with the recognition:

“As an organisation we pride ourselves on flexibility and support for our staff, so it is pleasing to see this reflected in the numbers.”

“What’s also incredible are the figures around ‘value’ – our staff believing in the values of GPH (96%), feeling as though their work gives them a sense of accomplishment (97%) and believing in the overall purpose (86%).”

“2020 was a difficult year in lots of ways and sometimes its hard to know if you’re on the right track but these results and anecdotal evidence we’ve received, show that in many ways were able to put the right systems in place for our staff - while still delivering high quality health care in our communities,” add Mr de Jongh.
