Popular 'Food Cents' Program Being offered in Dapto

Grand Pacific Health (GPH) and Illawarra Forum are offering the popular ‘Food Cents’ program again next month– this time in Dapto as part of the ‘Tenant Participation Resource Service’.
GPH’s Health Promotion Officer Kaitlyn Middleton says Food Cents offers a smarter way to spend money on food and to balance your diet and food budget:
“We will show participants how to read labels, understand unit pricing, and how to shop smart for healthy food,” added Kaitlyn.
Program Details:
What: ‘Food Cents’ covers healthy eating and healthy spending, The Australian Healthy Eating Guidelines and information on food labels
Where: Kurrajong Room 2, Ribbonwood Centre, Princes Hwy Dapto
When: Friday 20th October, 9:30am—1.30pm
Cost: Free! *
*This course is free for Social Housing Tenants (renting through Housing NSW, Housing Trust, Southern Cross Housing or AHO) and Applicants on the social housing waiting list.
